Artist in Residence Herrrenhaus Gut Hohen Luckow 2024-2025
Music composed by Ercole Nisini for the Gut Hohen Luckow manor house. They refer to the ceiling stucco by Giovanni Battista Clerici from 1707 and to the emblems that adorn the Knights' Hall and the Ulm Salon of the manor house.
The premiere took place on 17 May 2025 in both halls with a two-part concert programme featuring newly composed music by Ercole Nisini alongside late Renaissance and Baroque music by Claudio Monteverdi, Benedetto Ferrari and Francesco Mannelli, as well as Sinéad O'Connor. Die Mezzosopranistin Lucija Varsic hat 2023 in Ihrem Masterabschluss bei der Universtität der Künste Wien zwei Wiegenlieder von mir präsentiert und sie in eine Parallele mit der Canzonetta Spirituale von Claudio Merula gezogen. Ihr Interview mit mir war Teil Ihrer Arbeit, ihre Fragen zu beantworten war für mich eine Gelegenheit mir selbst Fragen zu stellen über meine Aktivität als "Musikschreiber".

In 2023, mezzo-soprano Lucija Varsic presented two of my lullabies in her master's thesis at the University of Arts in Vienna and drew parallels with Claudio Merula's Canzonetta Spirituale. Her interview with me was part of her thesis, and answering her questions gave me an opportunity to ask myself questions about my work as a “music writer.”

Die Sopranistin Heidi Maria Taubert war die Erste, die meine beiden Wiegenlieder interpretierte. Auf ihrer CD „Passacaglie d'amore” haben wir unter anderem „Nina Nanna della Guerra” und meine „Ciaccona Tempora Mutantur” aufgenommen.

The soprano Heidi Maria Taubert was the first to interpret my two lullabies. On her CD Passacaglie d'amore, we recorded Nina Nanna della Guerra and my Ciaccona Tempora Mutantur, among other pieces.​
Ich liebe die Kunstwerke meines Cousins Elvio Chiricozzi. Die Wolken seiner Kunstwerkserie „Skies” wirken auf mich so real, dass sie sich zu bewegen scheinen, wenn man sie fixiert. Sie sind für mich eine unendliche Inspirationsquelle.

I love the artwork of my cousin Elvio Chiricozzi. The clouds in his art series ‘Skies’ seem so real to me that they appear to move when you stare at them. They are an endless source of inspiration for me.
