IL VERO MODO ist ein praktisches Lehrbuch für alle Posaunist*innen, die sich der historischen Spielweise der Renaissance- und Barockposaune annähern oder sie vertiefen möchten: praktische Übungen zum Spielen auf Posaunen, die anders als heute ihre Stimmung an den Skalen der Hexachorde orientieren, zum Spielen und Improvisieren auf modalen Tonleitern, zum Anwenden von Artikulationen, die der Vokalmusik entsprechen, und vieles mehr. 

Eine praktische Ergänzung und Vorbereitung zu den bekannten Traktaten von Dalla Casa, Rognoni, Ortiz, die als Verbindung zwischen den Fähigkeiten und Gewohnheiten moderner Posaunist*innen und der technischen/musikalischen Spielpraxis der Instrumentalisten vor 400 Jahren dienen soll.

IL VERO MODO is a practical textbook for all trombonists who want to approach or deepen the historical way of playing the Renaissance and Baroque trombone: practical exercises for playing trombones that, unlike today, orient their tuning to the scales of the hexachord, for playing and improvise on modal scales, apply articulations that match vocal music, and more.

A practical supplement and preparation for the well-known treatises by Dalla Casa, Rognoni, Ortiz, intended to serve as a link between the skills and habits of modern trombonists and the technical/musical playing practice of instrumentalists 400 years ago.
